Can a rock chip be repaired instead of replacing the windshield?
Many rock chips can be repaired if they're addressed early enough and haven't spread into long cracks. The size, location, depth, and type of damage all play a role. We'll inspect the damage and recommend the safest and most cost-effective solution.
How do I know if my windshield needs to be replaced?
Replacement is usually recommended when damage is too large to repair, reaches the edge of the windshield, affects the driver's line of sight, or weakens the structural integrity of the glass.
How long does windshield replacement take?
Most windshield replacements take about an hour. After installation, the adhesive requires additional curing time before the vehicle is safe to drive. We'll provide the recommended safe drive-away time for your vehicle.
Do you offer mobile auto glass service?
Yes. We provide convenient mobile auto glass service throughout much of the Rogue Valley. Whether you're at home, at work, or another approved location, we'll come to you whenever mobile service is appropriate.
What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve Medford, Central Point, Ashland, Eagle Point, White City, Jacksonville, Talent, Phoenix, Gold Hill, Rogue River, Shady Cove, and surrounding communities throughout Southern Oregon.
Will my insurance cover windshield replacement?
Many comprehensive auto insurance policies include glass coverage. Because every policy is different, we'll help you understand your options and assist with the claims process whenever possible.
Do I have to contact my insurance company first?
Not necessarily. Contact us first and we'll explain the process based on your insurance coverage and the type of damage.
Will filing a glass claim increase my insurance rates?
Every insurance company and policy is different. If you have questions about how a glass claim may affect your coverage, we recommend contacting your insurance carrier.
Do you work with most major insurance companies?
Yes. We regularly work with many major insurance providers and help simplify the claims process whenever possible.
What is ADAS calibration?
Many newer vehicles use Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) that rely on cameras mounted behind the windshield. After windshield replacement, these systems may require calibration to help ensure they function properly.
Can you replace side windows and rear glass?
Yes. We replace door glass, quarter glass, vent glass, back glass, and other automotive glass for many makes and models.
How soon should I repair a rock chip?
As soon as possible. Temperature changes, road vibration, and everyday driving can cause a small chip to spread into a crack that requires full windshield replacement.
What if my windshield crack spreads?
Once a crack begins to spread, repair may no longer be an option. Having the damage inspected quickly gives you the best chance of avoiding a full replacement.
Is it safe to drive with a cracked windshield?
Even small cracks can reduce the strength of your windshield. If you're unsure whether your vehicle is safe to drive, contact us before continuing to use it.
What types of vehicles do you service?
We work on many passenger cars, pickup trucks, SUVs, vans, commercial vehicles, and fleet vehicles. If you have questions about your specific vehicle, give us a call.

How long should I wait before driving after a windshield replacement?
Safe drive-away time depends on the adhesive used, weather conditions, and your vehicle. We'll provide specific instructions before you leave or before we complete your mobile service.
Can weather affect my appointment?
Heavy rain, snow, or other severe weather may occasionally require rescheduling mobile service. If weather becomes a concern, we'll contact you to discuss the best options.
